{"id":910,"date":"2018-12-01T20:44:43","date_gmt":"2018-12-01T19:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medical-volunteers.org\/?p=910"},"modified":"2018-12-06T11:42:56","modified_gmt":"2018-12-06T10:42:56","slug":"why-do-we-rely-on-donations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medical-solidarity.org\/de\/why-do-we-rely-on-donations\/","title":{"rendered":"Why do we rely on donations?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our doctors are helping as volunteers and carry their costs privately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be able to finance the logistics of our volunteers we do need financial means to cover costs for our medicines, infrastructure, translation, registration and office supplies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most of the people we are treating don\u2019t speak English and our volunteers often don\u2019t speak Farsi, Arabic or French. We get support from people, who themselves are refugees and don\u2019t have sufficient income and rely on reimbursement for their project related costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the host countries our coordinators need to arrange the registration of our volunteers, complete administrative and logistical tasks to ensure the effective deployment of our medical staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s what we need your donation for!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our financial reports will be accessible on this website at the beginning of the following year.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our doctors are helping as volunteers and carry their costs privately.
