New Name – Same Team!

New name, same values, same team:

Medical Volunteers International e.V. becomes Medical Solidarity International e.V.

From now on, we will be working as Medical Solidarity International e.V. and, together with our partners, we will be campaigning for solidarity and the right to medical care – without borders, in solidarity and with heart.

Since our foundation, we have been campaigning for medical care and humanitarian support at Europe’s external borders – and beyond. Our work is no longer just about voluntary aid, but about active solidarity with people in need.

The term ‘volunteers’ emphasised individual initiatives – but we want to act in partnership, in solidarity and on an equal footing.

With our new name, we are making it clear: this is about international solidarity.

We hope you are as excited as we are as a team that we are finally taking this step, which above all fulfils the wishes of many of our volunteers.
